TALDANS ‹GRAF› (Dance)
THU 27.11. 20:00h - Dampfzentrale
In the theory of graphs, the term ‘Graph’ denotes a mathematical structure of nodes and angles. Both these elements play a role for the two dancers in this piece, both in the design of the stage setting and in the vocabulary of the movements performed by Filiz Sızanlı and Mustafa Kaplan. In Erki De Vries’s abstract scenography, the room is repeatedly divided, with threads and knots, into new cells, in which the two bodies orientate and adapt – even in the face of obvious physical resistance.

AYDIN TEKER ‹harS› (Dance)
SAT 29.11. 20:00h Dampfzentrale
In the dance ‘harS’, a female dancer investigates the relationship between the human body and an instrument invented by human beings – the harp. Ayşe Orhon, who studied both the harp and dance, investigates the instrument’s spatial and kinetic possibilities and thus arrives at some surprising results: body and object encounter each other in previously unknown terrain, appear to merge with each
